Freelance Illustrator & Graphic Designer

Summary

I'm a freelance artist with experience in graphic design and content creation. Many of my projects varied from character art to graphic design commissions for individual clients and small creative businesses.
I also have experience creating content for my horror-themed channel, called True Nightmares that ran on YouTube from 2017-2020. I wrote my own stories, designed the art and did the video editing. Ive also had to keep all my social media platforms updated and posted announcments on new videos every week.
Ive had the pleasure of collaborating with other writers and content creators. My proudest moment was being featured on Graveyard Sister's blog in 2019.
After 2020, the channel changed to KD After Hours featuring my normal artwork until 2023 when I announced my hiatus.
As a freelancer, Ive learned many skills and I'm grateful for the experiences Ive had so far. I believe I have much to offer any company and Im always open to learning something new.

  • Graphic Designer at Saint John's Program for Real Change
    January 2025 - November 2025

While a client at Saint John's Program for Real Change, I progressed into a support role for clients called a Dream Achiever. I along with other women planned events on center for clients to enjoy. We would meet weekly to discuss ideas and coordinate how to get supplies. Each member was also given a task related to the event being planned.

I was often assigned to design a banner & flyers for the event. Including the sign up sheet to be presented at community meetings. This would also involve me speaking to staff to get a budget approved for the banner design.
